Resolve common No Limit Advanced Job Creator setup, access, framework, and database issues.

FAQ

Common setup and runtime issues for No Limit Advanced Job Creator.

The Job Creator does not open

First, check that the resource is running:

cfg
ensure nolimit_jobcreator

Then check your configured opening method.

Command

If you use the command:

lua
Config.UseCommand = true

Use:

text
/nolimitcreator

Or use your custom configured command.

Keybind

If you use a keybind:

lua
Config.UseKeybind = true

Make sure you are pressing the configured key:

lua
Config.CreatorKeybind = "F4"

---

I get a permission error

Check your access configuration.

Identifier access

If you use:

lua
Config.UseIdentifiersToOpen = true

Make sure your Steam or FiveM license identifier is correctly added to:

text
config/sv_config.lua

Example:

lua
SVConfig.AllowedIdentifiers = {
    "steam:YOUR_STEAM_IDENTIFIER",
}

Or:

lua
SVConfig.AllowedLicenses = {
    "license:YOUR_LICENSE_IDENTIFIER",
}

Make sure the identifier format is correct.

---

ACE permissions are not working

Make sure ACE permissions are enabled:

lua
Config.UseAce = true

Then add the ACE permission in your server.cfg:

cfg
add_ace group.jobcreator "nolimit.jobcreator.open" allow

Assign your identifier to the group:

cfg
add_principal identifier.steam:YOUR_STEAM_HEX group.jobcreator

Restart the server after changing your ACE configuration.

---

I disabled both permission systems

Do not use:

lua
Config.UseAce = false
Config.UseIdentifiersToOpen = false

At least one authorization system must be configured to control access to the Job Creator.

Enable either ACE permissions or identifier access.

---

The script cannot detect my framework

Make sure one of the supported frameworks is running before No Limit Advanced Job Creator.

Supported resources:

text
es_extended
qb-core
qbx_core

Recommended server.cfg order:

ESX

cfg
ensure oxmysql
ensure es_extended
ensure nolimit_jobcreator

QB-Core

cfg
ensure oxmysql
ensure qb-core
ensure nolimit_jobcreator

QBX

cfg
ensure oxmysql
ensure qbx_core
ensure nolimit_jobcreator

You can also manually configure your framework:

lua
Config.Framework = "ESX"
lua
Config.Framework = "QB"
lua
Config.Framework = "QBX"

---

I configured ESX but QB-Core is detected

The script checks the frameworks running on your server.

You should not run multiple supported frameworks as active frameworks at the same time.

Make sure your server is running only the framework you intend to use.

The recommended configuration is:

lua
Config.Framework = "AUTO"

when your server has one supported framework running.

---

Jobs are not loading

First, check that oxmysql is running before the Job Creator.

cfg
ensure oxmysql
ensure nolimit_jobcreator

For ESX and database-based setups, also check that your database contains the required job tables:

text
jobs

and:

text
job_grades

Check your server console for MySQL errors.

---

I cannot create a job

Make sure you have permission to open and manage the Job Creator.

Then check the server console for errors.

For database-based setups, make sure:

* Your MySQL connection is working

* oxmysql is running

* The required job tables exist

* The database user has permission to modify the tables

---

Job grades are not saving

Make sure your database connection is working correctly.

For ESX-style job databases, verify that:

text
job_grades

exists and is accessible.

Also check the server console for database errors after attempting to save the grades.

---

I deleted a job by mistake

Job deletion removes the selected job and its associated grade data.

The Job Creator includes a confirmation process before deletion, but deleted database information may not be automatically recoverable.

It is strongly recommended to create regular database backups before making major changes to your server jobs.

---

My Discord logs are not sending

Make sure logging is enabled:

lua
Config.UseLogging = true

Then check:

text
config/sv_config.lua

Make sure your webhook is configured correctly:

lua
SVConfig.DiscordWebhook = "YOUR_DISCORD_WEBHOOK_URL"

The webhook must be a valid Discord webhook URL.

If the URL is malformed, the script will report a configuration error in the server console.

---

I do not want Discord logging

Disable logging:

lua
Config.UseLogging = false

You can leave the webhook placeholder unchanged when logging is disabled.

---

My Steam identifier is not accepted

Make sure the identifier uses the correct format:

text
steam:xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Do not incorrectly format the identifier with misplaced quotation marks or missing prefixes.

Example:

lua
SVConfig.AllowedIdentifiers = {
    "steam:xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx",
}

---

My FiveM license identifier is not accepted

Make sure the identifier starts with:

text
license:

Example:

lua
SVConfig.AllowedLicenses = {
    "license:xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx",
}

You can obtain identifiers through txAdmin or other server administration tools.

---

The keybind does not work for some players

FiveM keybind registrations can be saved in a player's local FiveM settings.

If you change the configured keybind after players have already joined your server, existing players may need to update their keybind manually through FiveM settings.

New players can receive the updated keybind registration.

---

I want to change the command

Open:

text
config/cl_config.lua

Change:

lua
Config.CreatorCommand = "nolimitcreator"

For example:

lua
Config.CreatorCommand = "jobcreator"

Players will then use:

text
/jobcreator

Restart the resource after making the change:

cfg
restart nolimit_jobcreator

---

The script shows configuration warnings

The script includes validation for common configuration mistakes.

Check the server console carefully.

Warnings can indicate:

* Invalid framework selection

* No supported framework detected

* Incorrect identifiers

* Invalid Discord webhook

* Disabled access methods

* Disabled menu opening methods

Correct the configuration values and restart the resource.

---

Do I need to restart the entire server after creating a job?

For supported runtime framework functionality, job changes can be handled while the server is running.

However, depending on your framework, additional scripts or systems may cache job information.

If another resource does not immediately recognize a newly created job, restart the affected resource or restart the server if required by your server setup.

---

Which frameworks are supported?

No Limit Advanced Job Creator supports:

* ESX

* QB-Core

* QBX

You can select a framework manually or use:

lua
Config.Framework = "AUTO"

for automatic detection.

---

Do I need an SQL file?

For the standard supported setup, no separate SQL installation file is required.

The script uses the existing job structures provided by your framework and supported database setup.
